How to get to the store
Exit Jiyugaoka Station through the Central Ticket Gate, walk anticlockwise around the bus terminal, and go straight down the street between Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and I'm donut?. The store is along this street.

Three things you can do at the store
1. Try cutting and handling
You can try every Tashinam product in person.
Test the sharpness of the KANZEN Knife and the cutting feel of the KANZEN Cutting Board on real ingredients, right there in the store. You can also compare the weight and blade length of knives within the same series before choosing.
Our other Tashinam tools are also on display for you to pick up and see.
2. Advice on choosing tools
Which tool works best for your everyday cooking? We'll make suggestions after hearing about how you cook, the size of your hands and your kitchen storage.
3. Resharpening drop-off
We accept knives purchased from Tashinam for resharpening at the store. Sharpening is not done in-store; the craftsmen at our manufacturer finish each knife.

Why Tashinam
opened a physical store
Until now, Tashinam has sold the KANZEN Knife and a range of kitchen tools co-developed with craftsmen and workshops in Japan mainly online.
At the same time, we heard many questions that are hard to answer online: "How heavy is it really?", "How does it feel in the hand?", "Does it really cut that well?"
Knives in particular can rarely be test-cut in shops or department stores, for safety and hygiene reasons.
That is why we decided to open our own street-level store.
Whether you already have a product in mind or are still deciding what to choose,
please come and tell us about your everyday cooking and what you look for in a tool.
We look forward to meeting you.
